Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
AccessiDrop is an accessibility monitoring tool. We believe the web should be usable by everyone, and we hold ourselves to the same standard we help our customers achieve. We are committed to making accessidrop.com and app.accessidrop.com accessible to all users, including people with disabilities.
Conformance standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines are published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) and define requirements for making web content more accessible.
What we do
- ✓ Use semantic HTML elements for proper document structure and navigation
- ✓ Provide text alternatives for non-text content
- ✓ Maintain sufficient color contrast ratios throughout the interface
- ✓ Ensure all interactive elements are keyboard accessible
- ✓ Label form controls with visible and programmatically associated labels
- ✓ Provide clear, descriptive link text
- ✓ Use our own tool (AccessiDrop) to continuously monitor our sites for regressions
Testing methodology
We test our sites using the following methods:
- • Automated scanning with axe-core (the engine powering AccessiDrop) against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria
- • Keyboard navigation testing to verify all functionality is operable without a mouse
- • Screen reader testing with VoiceOver on macOS
- • Color contrast verification across all text and interactive elements
Known limitations
While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, no automated tool catches every possible accessibility issue. We actively work to identify and resolve issues as they arise. If you encounter any accessibility barriers, we want to know about it.
